Colourpop Lipsticks Review & Swatches

Heeeeello! Another Week another Blog. Back to routine (Thank God) and now I can resume working on my long due posts.  🥂 Today’s Post is going to be on Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipsticks. If you’re a lipstick lover this post is for you! I got these from This amazing Girl Nida.  I am so excited to share the review of these lipsticks like Oh My Gawwwd 😍 So let’s get into the review.

If you want a matte, super long wearing lip colour, you’ll love these. Personally, I love them! It is so lightweight that you will not even feel like you have something on your lips. I am totally loving its formula. The formula reminds of Limecrime’s liquid lipsticks, it’s a very thin, watery formula that glides on smoothly with intense pigmentation. But you have to work fast because they dry within 10-20 seconds, and it’s best to get an even application in one go. It applies fully opaque on the lips with its true colour intensity. It is fully opaque and doesn’t need a second layer. If one needs to darken the colour then a second layer can be worn. They have no taste or scent. The packaging feels substantial and high-end.

These wear about 6-7 hours on me, and last really well through eating and drinking. If you’re interested in trying liquid lipstick, or you’re looking to expand your collection, I say pick some up! The quality of the product is amazing and the wear time is fantastic, especially compared to high-end liquid lipsticks. To get these Lipsticks off, you’ll need a good oil or oil-based cleanser. I use my Rose Petal Sugar Scrub to get these off.

Colourpop Colours

Colourpop Colours Bumble: Colourpop describes this as a ‘dusty warm terracotta’. It’s a mid-tone warm pinky brown. This is one of my favourites and a perfect everyday fall shade.

Moving on to Creeper, it’s a true classic red. I’m not a fan of classic red lipstick but Colourpop UML makes it die for.

Mama’ is a beautiful burnt orange shade. It’s so hard to find a true burnt orange shade. This shade will flatter warmer tones more and can be paired with a casual and bold look both.

Love Bug is a rich mahogany shade. It is kind of deep brown shade with the hint of plum and warm undertones.

The shade Donut is described as a ‘bright peach’ and it is indeed a very beautiful peachy shade. However, this shade won’t complement most of the Indian skin tones.

Do I recommend these? 🤔

I do. I am quite happy with these liquid lipsticks. I do think you should check them out if you love a matte dry finish lipstick. For $8 this is definitely worth checking out. It’s a fantastic formula and I still can not get over how transfer-proof they are for a lipstick bullet.

  •   Products used: Ecotools angled liner brush, Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Gel Liner, Covergirl Lip Gloss. 2) The Classic Red Lip There is a reason why this has been the most popular look among the women of Hollywood – nothing conveys power and drama quite like the sultry red lip. You can simply slap it on from the lipstick or use a brush. Kendall Jenner does hers by pressing on some lipstick and then dabbing it to spread it so the lips look natural and the color lasts longer. You can also line your lips (or overline them, up to you) or apply foundation on your lips so they look more voluminous with lipstick. But if you want a more natural pout try scrubbing your lips with petroleum jelly before putting on lipstick.   Products used: Ciate London Liquid Velvet, Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara. diploma online

  • That”s so awesome that you got to meet your favourite figure skater! I don”t really follow the sport but it is definitely a beautiful one! That lipstick shade is gorgeous, I”ve never tried any lipstick by MAC but I”ve heard their lipsticks are very well-received, maybe I should start with that one. custom written essays
